The Swiss AIDS Federation coordinates and networks sexual health organisations. It organises platforms for association members to exchange knowledge and experience.

The Swiss AIDS Federation ensures coordination, knowledge transfer and networking through platforms for members of the organisation and other civil society actors in the field of sexual health. To this end, the Swiss AIDS Federation organises numerous expert commissions, support groups for projects and thematic working groups.

Specialist committees are a central forum for those responsible at the national office to build up knowledge, form opinions and strengthen cooperation. Members are appointed by the head office. They are the responsible employees of the member organisations as well as representatives from civil society organisations, academia and the authorities. Swiss AIDS Federation has four national expert commissions that facilitate dialogue on relevant topics and ensure coordination between national and regional activities:

  • Expert commission MSM (men who have sex with men)
  • Expert commission FSW (Female Sex Work)
  • Expert commission HPL (people with a connection to high-prevalence countries)
  • Expert commission MHIV (people living with HIV)
